BBC News reports, “There is a strong link between heavy internet [sic] use and depression.”

To their credit, the authors of the study that this article is based on do not draw causal arrows. They stress that it is just an apparent correlation.

More to the point, they got their study cited in BBC News and the International Business Times.

Sadly, they are not immune from stating hypotheses as conclusions, “This type of addictive surfing can have a serious impact on mental health.”

Recently, I speculated that busybody do-gooders might regroup under the banner of public health, now that envirofascism is denied them.

Invest accordingly.
