Sotomayor Voce: Speak Softly out Both Sides of Your Mouth

Yet again, we have confirmation of my earlier prediction that Pres. Obama is steering to the political right of Pres. Bush the Younger.

Not only has Pres. Obama’s first nominee for Supreme Court Justice expressed ethnic and gender supremacist views, she sides with the multi-millionaire executives of the US entertainment industry — one of the largest export industries in the USA — against the little people.

Wired Magazine reports, “When it comes to financial damages in copyright infringement cases, Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor embraces the content industry’s party line.”

The perennially indignant on the lower end of the AM radio dial can work themselves into a hysterical stupor over how far to the left they have themselves convinced that Pres. Obama is trying to steer the USA, but the exact opposite is the case.

Sonia Sotomayor serves the corporatist hegemony that is subverting democracy and individual liberty in the USA, the West/North, and the world, and she has expressed gender and ethnic supremacist views.

When white males, Richard Herrnstein and Charles Murray, published The Bell Curve, in which they argued that IQ “is a better predictor of many factors including financial income, job performance, unwed pregnancy, and crime than parents’ socioeconomic status or education level,” the Left went ballistic.

When white male, Larry Summers, suggested “women’s ‘intrinsic aptitude’ might explain why so few women became professors of mathematics and science, the Left went postal and never forgave Summers, even after he apologized.

When Sonia Sotomayor said that white males cannot make decisions that are as wise as Latinas, the Left nodded in agreement.

I said it earlier, and it bears repeating: to hold one’s own ethnicity up as superior to others is distasteful and self-serving.

With regard to Sonia Sotomayor’s corporatist decisioneering from the federal bench, her position on the malleability of facts is particularly troubling. “Personal experiences affect the facts that judges choose to see,” she is quoted as saying.

She chooses to see ‘facts’ that are promulgated by the high-powered lawyers — who represent the millionaire executives of the US entertainment industry against the little people — that support the view that monetary damages as high as $150,000 per copyright infringement by little people are warranted… and Obama Administration lawyers agree.

Invest accordingly.
